Triangle Palm : Dypsis Decaryi
The Triangle palm is one of the most interesting and commonly cultivated Florida palm trees. It has beautiful pinnate, bluish-green leaves that grow in threes and form a trianguar crown. The spectacular specimen plant is native to Madagascar where it is endangered and very rare.
The Triangle palm makes a perfect container specimen for a patio or deck. It is also can be grown as an indoor palm. Dypsis Decaryi will add a tropical look to any decor.

Trunk: The Triangle palm has a solitary, rough, dark-grey or brown trunk, covered with leaf bases and shaped like a triangle. It grows up to 15-30 feet in height and up to 1.5 feet in diameter.
Leaves: The leaves are long, up to 10 feet in length, arching almost upright, pinnate, bluish-green in color. They emerge from the top of the trunk.

Fruits: The Triangle palm bears round, black, inedible fruits.
Propagation: It is propagated from seed. Germination occurs in 1 month.
