The Pygmy Date Palm is a low growing palm often used for residential landscaping throughout the Florida region. The short multi-trunked specimen looks very attractive whenever it grows. The miniature palm is one of the most widely used Florida Palm Trees. This palm is a cousin of the real Date Palm which produces edible dates.
