Mediterranean Palm : Chamaerops Humilis
The attractive, bushy, evergreen palm that grows in clumps and resembles more a shrub that a tree is one of the most popular Florida Palm Trees. The Mediterranean palm is an extremely tough tree compare to other species.
This tree is grown widely in the Mediterranean region, along the Atlantic coast and the Pacific coast. It is also a good container plant.

Trunk: Multiple trunks (8-10) grow from a single point-base and form clumps. They can reach up a height of 10-15 feet. The trunks are covered with dense brown fibers and old leaf bases.
