Trunk: The solitary, ringed, covered with leaf scars trunk can reach 30-50 feet in height.

Leaves: The large, fan shaped, furry, bright green leaves are deeply divided into 60-90 segments. They create a beautiful wide canopy. The fronds droop downward and form fountain-like shape. They can spread to a width of 10-12 feet. These trees can be as wide as they tall.
